This was the first whale I saw on the first day of my Hawaii trip.  Figured I would see many more during the rest of the trip.  The reason you do not see more whale photos from Hawaii is because this was it.  View fullsize

This photo was taken in Alaska.  The small boat I was in was very close to him.  Lucky for us  when he emerged from the water that he did not  crash into our boat.  View fullsize

Not my typical photo--way too calm.  Just seemed like the quintessential New England scene so I just took the photo.

This photo was taken in the Galapagos Islands.  It is a blue boobie.  I am told that not many animals have turquoise feet like this.  Is that accurate?  Who knows?  But that was the reason I put him on my webpage.  If I find out it's not true, off he View fullsize
