I desperately wanted to photograph a large moose with huge antlers. Unfortunately at the time of year I was in Yellowstone, the male mooses had not yet grown their new antlers. So I had to settle for this baby moose. View fullsize

Eagle. Jackson Hole. OK, I admit I am a fan boy for eagles. So intense. They just sit high up in a tree, no movement, and use their "eagle" eyes to spot their next meal. View fullsize

This was the first whale I saw on the first day of my Hawaii trip. Figured I would see many more during the rest of the trip. The reason you do not see more whale photos from Hawaii is because this was it. View fullsize

Not my typical photo--way too calm. Just seemed like the quintessential New England scene so I just took the photo.

This photo was taken in the Galapagos Islands. It is a blue boobie. I am told that not many animals have turquoise feet like this. Is that accurate? Who knows? But that was the reason I put him on my webpage. If I find out it's not true, off he View fullsize
